Cleiog Ceramics

Menna Edwards is the potter behind Cleiog Ceramics, based in Cambridgeshire.

The Welsh word ‘Cleiog’ literally translates to ‘an abundance of clay’, which seems fitting and connects to her Welsh heritage.

Menna makes small batches of ceramics, all hand thrown in stoneware on her potter’s wheel. She takes inspiration from vintage French pottery and fabrics and has recently created her own glazes which she feels add a new quality and another dimension to her work as I experiments with different clay, shapes and styles.

The ceramics are made to be enjoyed, used regularly and be a part of everyday living.

All Cleiog ceramics are microwave safe. They can be put in the dishwasher although hand washing is kinder.
