Kodomo spalted beech milking stool
The natural process of spalting causes the unique patterns on the seat of this handmade milk stool. The beech seat has been hand planed and shaped and the tapered ash legs turned on an old 1950s lathe. Joined together by strong through tenons inspired by vernacular joinery and with several coats of linseed oil, this milk stool has a unique character all of its own. Kodomo means child in Japanese.
