A few weeks ago, we had some fun creating 'tablescapes' for an upcoming publication. It was a chance for us to showcase some of the beautiful pieces made by our talented makers and begin to ease ourselves into a Summer aesthetic.
Taking the time to create a beautiful setting is more than just about making an visually pleasing place to eat breakfast, lunch or dinner; it's an opportunity bring some much needed colour and theatre to mealtime. In our frenetic world, slowing down to enjoy eating together is sacred, so further enhancing the experience with a little beautification is a nice way to reset at each mealtime.
For us, no table setting is complete without fresh flowers. They add colour, texture, and life to any tablescape. In the shop, we’re never without. Don’t be afraid to go bright and bold – those luscious green stems will always provide a much needed tonal step back to whatever your colour scheme.
