Chris Taylor

Chris Taylor is a photographer & filmmaker based in Sheringham, North Norfolk.  A lifelong resident of the North Norfolk coast, Chris has always had a love for the sea (with a degree in Coastal Biology too!), whether that involves snorkelling on the famous Norfolk chalk reef, taking his boat out at Blakeney Point or serving as volunteer RNLI lifeboat crew since 2000.  

Chris’s passion for the North Norfolk coast reflects in his hand-printed linocut images which feature marine life and coastal scenes.  By using licensed prints of the North Norfolk coast nautical charts as a backing for some of his prints Chris hopes to bring his love for the sea and this area into people’s homes.

Chris taught himself linocut printing in 2023 and enjoys the therapeutic nature of carving the soft lino to create images of salty scenes and the marine animals he loves so much.
