Henri Howe

Henri is a self-taught artisan creating handcrafted rope pieces from reclaimed fishing rope which is sourced directly from local fishermen to North Norfolk. 

Henris connection to the sea runs deeper than the materials he works with. before turning his hand to making Henri spent three years working as a commercial fisherman, working out of Cromer on the North Norfolk coast. 

Early mornings, heavy nets and long days at sea gave Henri a deep respect for the sea, the industry and the materials he works with. 

Each piece is individually coiled and shaped by hand with love and patience. Because of the ropes history, it holds its on character, texture and story & no items will ever be exactly the same because of this.
