The Speculating Rook

Anna established The Speculating Rook in 2014.

Following a training in ceramics she then went on to work as a sandwich maker, switchboard operator, bookseller, cleaner, gallery assistant, bookseller again, untitled rearranger of displays in the Whipple Museum, potter’s technician, adult education tutor and school art technician before finding her niche in a room with an enormous collection of mismatched textiles, an old sewing machine and a whippet.
