Collection: Wacky Women
For Annemarie, it all began in October 2014 when the first intuitive portrait emerged whilst doodling at the kitchen table, now there is a whole crowd of them (affectionately named wacky women).
Her paintings/collages are fun and colourful and developed from her love of portraiture. Annemarie experiments with a range of mediums and often collages these exercises together. Sometimes marks which appear serendipitously can be become the most endearing feature.
In 2020 she published a booklet, Lockdown Chronicles featuring 36 illustrations and vignettes of that period in time. Quirky, fun and created to make you smile.
