Whissy Wicks Candles

Whissy Wicks was conceived by Leigh and Steve, aiming to produce unique beeswax candles from their home in Whissonsett, Norfolk. 

Steve is a retired scientist and Leigh a retired gardener, both have a keen interest in history and historical objects. They have built up a beautiful collection of embossed vintage bottles, all found right here in Norfolk.

Leigh is always looking for new creative outlets and conceived the idea of reproducing some of their favourite bottles as candles. With the added help of Steve's technical abilities they were able to create these wonderful candles. 

The bottles were produced by local Norfolk businesses. Historically, the best and most expensive candles were made of beeswax, emitting a beautiful, long lasting glow with no noxious fumes or unsightly soot.

Leigh and Steve wanted to honour the past and create an all natural candle with no harmful effects. 

Whissy Wicks Candles are made purely from beeswax and nothing else.
