Albers III

Initially inspired by weaving art created by women of the Bauhaus movement, this ongoing collection of work draws colour inspiration from a variety of women artists throughout history. Some names are port of the canon, some may be less well known, but all are worth discovering more about.

Anni Albers may be one of the more well known names of the Bauhaus, creating pieces on the loom that were not only geometrically beautiful, but also innovative and highly functional.
