Rustic wine stoppers made with timber recovered from HMS Victory. Each piece is provided in a silk-lined box with a certificate of provenance.

Built between 1759 and 1765, HMS Victory, Lord Nelson’s legendary flagship at Trafalgar stands as the world’s oldest and most celebrated warship. When she was dry docked in Portsmouth in 1922 to be preserved for the nation, more than 30 tonnes of oak and copper were carefully removed to secure her final resting place.

David Roger Burton purchased the 30 tonnes of wood & copper removed from HMS Victory (while preparing her for dry docking) - Nelson's flagship in the battle of trafalgar.  He has since made many items and the wood is now down to the last few scraps so these stoppers may be the last possible chance to own a piece of this historic ship.
