This is one of our most enduring designs which with a few modifications we have been making for over 30 years. The design was originally based on a naval seaman’s kit bag. The result is a deceptively simple, practical, good looking bag. We make the Kit Bag in three sizes.
The Kit Bag is handcrafted from tough and durable full grain English Hunter oiled hide.
Inside the bag there is one large open pocket with smaller pockets for a mobile phone, pens etc. The front pocket and shoulder straps are cut from Buffalo hide which fasten with a solid brass buckle. The leather rope is cut from a single piece of English hide which forms part of the unique and inventive closure system in which the solid brass ring locates onto the brass parachute clip with a simple push action, ensuring the bag is securely closed when carried. All main seams are double stitched and all pressure points reinforced with rivets.
