Otte III

Initially inspired by weaving art created by women of the Bauhaus movement, this ongoing collection of work draws colour inspiration from a variety of women artists throughout history. Some names are port of the canon, some may be less well known, but all are worth discovering more about.

A key figure of the Bauhaus weaving studio, Benita Otte spent the last 20+ years of her career running weaving workshops in a psychiatric hospital.
