Stölzl

Initially inspired by weaving art created by women of the Bauhaus movement, this ongoing collection of work draws colour inspiration from a variety of women artists throughout history. Some names are port of the canon, some may be less well known, but all are worth discovering more about.

The first woman to hold the title of "Master" at the Bauhaus, Gunta Stölzl's work came to typify the weaving style of the movement.
