The Book of Do - A Manual for Living
The Do Book Company launched in 2013 with the aim of helping creative entrepreneurs, makers and Doers work smarter and create positive change. Since then, the collection has grown to 40 (and counting!) titles spanning design, business, wellbeing and sustainable living, with each book focusing on the ‘doing’, not the background theory.
To celebrate 10 years of publishing, The Book of Do: A Manual for Living draws together some of the very best writing and artwork into one seminal anthology. Edited by founder and publisher, Miranda West, and organised around 10 themed sections, it features wisdom and advice from leading experts – including bestselling authors David Hieatt, Robert Poynton and Bobette Buster – on how to live a more creative and sustainable life, work smarter, or even change direction. In the words of Dick Dastardly, ‘Don’t just stand there, do something!’
A 10% royalty from each copy sold will be donated to Trees for Cities and The Children's Literary Charity. As with all Do Books, a further 5% royalty goes to The DO Lectures to help it achieve its aim of making positive change.
